To approach my own practice I chose to explore it, inspect it, dissect it, define it, therefore to understand it, creating space for reflection through the creative process. Is it about depicting reality or about inventing it as you desire it to be?
The everyday objects, do they become transformed into anything else by being shaped into another material?
What distinguishes the object from the image, the actual from the perception, the real from the illusion?
Who or what determines the limits of the ’true’ substance.
